GoldRayne Media is a privately held production company specializing in television, film and video production.

Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; we are centrally located within the country and home to some of the most talented and trained personnel in the motion picture industry.  We also strongly support HD and other digital formats in film/television for both broadcast and online applications.   

GoldRayne Media's primary business is to Produce feature films, MOW's, television series, documentaries, and one-off's.  In addition to looking for great stories to acquire and bring to life, we also create and develop many of our own original program ideas.

Commercially we also provide production services for music videos, and television commercials, special events. Our competitive rates, access to cutting edge facilities, and our highly skilled crews guarantee that we can provide you with high quality production services at a fraction of the cost compared to most others. 

Producer, Shelly-Anne Hays who oversees operations at GoldRayne Media got her start in the industry in 1994 while working for a major entertainment distributor and record label, called Simitar Entertainment and quickly worked her way to National Sales Manager.  Then shortly thereafter she worked with a US Executive Producer to Co-Produce a magazine style travel show called "On the Road".  Finally in 1998 she decided she wanted to Produce her own travel series which aired on ABC, NBC, PAX and 36 different cable networks within Manitoba and Ontario reaching over 1.9 million viewers each week.  This was simply the beginning of her creative and professional journey.    

In 2006 Shelly-Anne Hays wrapped production on a music video for recording artist Kimberley Dawn, a short film for YTV called "The Snow Fort" with Director Ian Yorski, and a feature length documentary entitled "My Winnipeg" with Buffalo Gal Pictures which was Executive Produced by Phyllis Laing, and directed by one of Canada's award winning Directors; Guy Maddin.  The documentary was released theatrical and ranked as one of Canada's top Canadian films at box office according to Playback Magazine. 

Also under her belt is a music video with Hip Hop group Platinum Black, and a video montage sequence for the band Eagle & Hawk for use at the Aboriginal People's Choice Music Awards in November 2006. 

The year 2007 was equally as busy, Shelly-Anne Hays completed production on a one hour MOW for APTN as Line Producer with Buffalo Gal Pictures entitled, "Frontrunners".  The story is based on the life story of the original torchrunners from the Pan American Games in 1967.  In the spring Shelly-Anne Hays co-produced with USA Executive Producer Brett Allen; a travel series entitled, "Best of Arizona" which aired on NBC and CBS .  In the fall she finished the year off as Producer on another music video called "Hello Goodbye" for the Top 40 band "Live on Arrival" (hit single Ready Set No reached #1 in Canada). 

In 2008 much of Shelly-Anne's time was devoted to developing a major feature film with Executive Producers Kim Todd and Nick Hirst (Original Pictures Inc.), and Producer Leonard Waldner of Winnipeg Manitoba.  The film is a co-production with Producer Allan Code of Na Ho Productions in Whitehorse, Yukon.  Target shoot date is Spring of 2010.

Shelly-Anne is also currently working on a live performance project with CMA Entertainment, President Eddie Birkett and one of his top star talents "DeRic Starlight" to coordinate and launch a 14 city cross-Canada "Anti-Bullying" world tour.  DeRic and his puppets will entertain audiences from Kindergarten to Grade 6 and together they will pass on the anti-bullying message with a goal to changing children's' lives for the future. 

GoldRayne Media and its Producers are available as service Producers and/or Co-Producers, and are actively exploring opportunities in Australia, Italy, and the UK.   We welcome the opportunity to work with Foreign Producers interested in bringing their productions to Winnipeg, Manitoba.  We are host to some substantial film tax rebates and we can help you access them (film labor tax credits) earning your production up to 60% back) on qualifying expenditures.
